Preamble
This site is a property of Paul A. Langlois Ltée Jewellery, whose registered office is located at 909 boul. Pierre-Bertrand Sud, Suite 210, Québec, Canada, G1M 3R8. Any reproduction of this site, in whole or in part, is systematically subject to the authorization of the owners. However, copied hypertext links to the site are allowed without specific requests.
1. Accepting terms and conditions
The customer acknowledges our policies and special conditions and expressly accepts them unreservedly from the moment he passes his order. In other words, by submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Paul A. Langlois website.
These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Paul A. Jewellery Langlois Ltd. and its customers. These general sale conditions will prevail over all other conditions contained in any other document, unless we have agreed previously to a derogation in writing.
2. Product availability
The products offered on the site are generally available in store. If an item is out of stock with us at the time of your order, a few weeks are required to reproduce the jewel. The maximum period of time required is four weeks. If you order a product that is currently out of stock, the customer will be informed through its customer account available on the site and / or by email, as soon as possible.
3. Ordering
If the customer wishes to place an order, he must first identify himself. So he will fill, according to the indications provided to him online, a form made available for him, where he will include the necessary information for his identification. This information must include full name, phone number, address, e-mail and billing and shipping address. This form is either available in English or in French.
Once the customer has chosen his items, he will definitively validate his order by clicking on "Submit order" to express its commitment and acceptance of the General Sale Conditions. From that moment, the order will be registered and saved. The customer will then receive a confirmation through the website or/and on his email address with a confirmation number. The data recorded by the Jewelry Paul A. Langlois Ltd. constitutes a proof of the nature, content and date of the order.
No cancellation is possible without our previous approval. If ever you come about to change your mind, you can return the item within 7 days after the delivery date, but only if the company is aware of this return and that it has been granted. Take note that every special order is not refundable. By special order, we mean, any ring that has been ordered with a specific size or that has been modified to your taste.
We will send the refund as soon as possible if the item in good condition. For every returned item, the cost for shipping will be of your responsibility. Paul A. Jewelry Langlois Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or not to repay the items returned if ever the products were damaged or worn by the customer.
4. Shipping information
The delivery will be made at the address specified by the customer in the form. It will be carried out by Post Canada. In exchange of your package, a signature is required in order to confirm the reception of the parcel. The parcel will be sent out once the order is validated by the customer and that we have received the entire amount for the ordered items. The bank centres concerned will have given their approval on the payment previously. In case of a refusal from the bank central, the order will automatically be cancelled.
Subsequently, Jewelry Paul A. Langlois Ltd. reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom a dispute currently exists. The delivery rates are calculated according to your zip code. These rates may be viewed at any time in the Shipping Terms and Conditions section. For the delivery address: the customer must indicate in his order an address to which the delivery will be made during normal business hours.
If ever you are not available when the carrier delivers your parcel ,he will file a notice to let you know he came by and will indicate a location where you can pick up your parcel. It’ll either be at the post office or in one of Post Canada’s desk.
5. Delivery times
Once the parcel has been prepared by the logistics department, the order wil be delivered under 24 to 48 hours by Post Canada.
These deadlines are only for working days. We are not responsible for orders with incorrect or missing information, should they not reach you. The delivery times will depend on stock availability.
Delivery delays due to unavailability of stock at the moment of your purchase, will under no circumstances, allow a compensation.
In the case where we are out of stock in the product ordered, the period of replenishment is approximately 2 to 4 weeks depending on the item. Delivery delays will then begin only from the date the product is considered in stock.
In the case where exceptional events (natural disaster, epidemic, strikes, lock-outs, etc.) delay or prohibit the delivery of goods, Paul A. Langlois Ltd. jewellery is exempt from any responsibility.
Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Jewellery is not responsible for the failure from the carrier to meet delivery deadlines announced by the carrier itself. Also, no compensation or refund can be requested from Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Jewellery in the event of a delay, due to a failure in the carrier’s service.
An order cancelled, for whatever reason, and accepted by the company Jewelry Paul A. Langlois Ltd. will entitle the only repayment of the amount paid for the item(s). No compensation for any cancellation may be requested.
6. Pricing
The price is expressed in the currency selected, charges for packaging and taxes are not included.
The price listed does not include transportation costs since they are calculated accordingly to your zip code.
The price listed in your order confirmation is the final price, includes all taxes. The price also includes the total value of the items, packaging and shipping and handling costs.
Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Jewellery reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice. The products will be charged on the basis of the rates established at the time of the validation of your payment. The customer will be notified if there is a price adjustment. Any cancellation former to a price adjustment will be accepted.
7. Claiming your parcel
By signing the delivery slip, the customer accepts the products delivered and therefore no claims on damage suffered during transport will be accepted. It is very important to always check your package upon arrival. You have 24 hours to contact us in case of a missing or damaged parcel in order for us to notify the carrier as soon as possible. Any claim not made in the rules defined above and within the deadlines assigned, will withdraw Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Jewellery from all responsibility. his is why it is important for the customer to check upon the delivery, the good condition of the parcel. If ever a parcel has been damaged or has been lost,you will have to mention it on the delivery slip for us to claim to the carrier. You will have to contact us by phone or by email within the 24 hours following the delivery.
Any item that you wish to return, requires the prior consent of the company Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Remember that any jewellery which undergoes a change in size or otherwise, is non-refundable. Failing agreement, any returned merchandise will be at the customer’s own expense and risk, all transportation costs and handling being charged to the customer. In all cases, returned items are at the expense and risk of the customer.
8. Receipt
The customer will find in his parcel a detailed bill explaining your total amount.
9. Payment
Payment methods :
- Credit card : Visa, Mastercard, or American Express through Paypal or by phone.
- PMO : The customer may send a PMO payable to Bijouterie Paul A. Langlois Ltée. to settle the total amount including taxes as well as the shipping and handling costs. You will have to mention on the PMO the order number and the details of the order to:

If we haven’t received the payment in the 7 to 10 days following your purchase, the order will be cancelled.
10. Lost or stolen parcel
In case of a loss or stolen parcel, it is imperative to notify Paul A. Jewelry Langlois Ltd. in a reasonable delay.
To report the loss or a stolen parcel, the customer must contact us by mail (contact@bijouterielanglois.ca) or by phone. The customer is entitled to communicate with us for the non-receipt of a package. An investigation will then be opened by Paul A. Jewelry Langlois Ltd. with the carrier. Jewelry Paul A. Langlois Ltd. undertakes the responsibility to provide the customer with all the information related to the investigation. The minimum period of time to clarify the loss of a parcel is 3 weeks.
Once the loss has been clarified after results of the investigation with the carrier, Jewelry Paul A. Langlois Ltd. will perform a second delivery, or may proceed to refund.
11. Governing law
This contract is subject to the Quebec law. This contract is expressed either in French or in English to suite most of our customers. In case of a dispute, Quebec courts are the only entities to be competent.
12. Privacy policy
Personal information
The information and data concerning our customers are required, in order for us to process your order and to establish a good communication between ours customers and Paul A. Langlois Ltd. Jewellery.
Storing your information
This information and data are stored for at least ten years in order to comply with legal obligations.
